The trigger is located at the front, and is so easy to use it doesn't take very much to get used to.
The gun isn't geared towards a particular handedness, so you can use it in whatever hand you are comfortable with, left or right or even both. The Zapper is very sensitive so you can use it too shoot form any position you like.
When you buy the Nintendo Zapper you will also get the bundled game, "Link's Crossbow Training" along with it which is a really good game to give you practice before you start playing other games with the Wii Zapper. If you play shooting games on your Nintendo Wii then you should definitely buy the Wii Zapper, without it you are missing a lot of fun. nintendo zapper?
I bought an oringal nintendo, came with a zapper gun. How do i use it with duck hunt/super mario game. do i use the controller to start the game then plug in the gun? please explain!
You can plug in the gun before you turn the game on. Use the gun at the starting menu to select Duck Hunt (I'm pretty sure you just have to aim and shoot at Duck Hunt to select it).
If that doesn't work, try plugging the controller into port 1 and the gun into port 2. Use the controller to select the game, then use the gun in the game. If THAT still doesn't work, swap the controller with the gun and try again.
