Help repairing e74 error code on Xbox 360?
I have an xbox 360 that is out of warranty and it has gotten the one red light in the bottom right corner. The error code is e74 and the secondary error code is 1022, which means it is a problem with the A/V cable or the encoder chip. But i have used multiple different A/V cords and tried an HDMI one and still get the same error code.
The picture looks fine on the error code screen so I don't think its any sort of A/V problem
And I have already done the x-Clamp fix and that still didnt fix it
Any ideas on how to fix this would be much appreciated. Thanks
This had happened to me and the only way to fix it s to send it. It depends how long your warranty was out for because the one red ring also has an extended warranty. If your xbox is not under warranty then it will cost around 100$ or you'll just need to buy a new one. Sorry to hear about it.
