My Screed About Mp3 Players
I despise wholesale Mp3 players. You stroll along the boulevard and everyone else looks like aliens with their ear buds and vacuous. Or traveling on the metro, you are next to a person wearing an iPod or some other type of wholesale Mp3 players and you can really HEAR what they are listening to! Death metal pouring into their ears and, in the process, spilling over onto me! Are they completely uninformed about tinnitus, or ear damage, that can be caused by loud noises? It is a life-long problem and here they are, 20-something and apparently ignorant of the harm they are inflicting upon themselves. And the irritation they are causing me!
But that is not necessarily the biggest downside. No, the biggest problem is when you try to converse with somebody who is utterly involved in tuning in to the hated devices that Mp3 player wholesalers offer (by the way, have you noticed how cheap they are)?. You know what these music lovers do sometimes? They take A SINGLE ear bud out, let it dangle, and then talk to you with the other ear bud still going! Really? Is this just normal multitasking for them? Has no one ever advised them that it is totally uncivil? It is equaled only by the phenomenon of text at the same time as engaging in conversation. I suppose the distinction is with the wholesale Mp3 player, you can pretend it is no different from having canned music in the background. But it still drives me crazy!
And the fundamental problem with all of this? It fosters social isolation. It is another demonstration of lack of real direct personal relationship. When wholesale Mp3 players are in the ears, folks are not paying attention to their surroundings or the humanity around them. They are isolated and by themselves, not relating to the sight of snow on the ground or the sound of wind in the trees or the scents on the air. What kind of poetry will the 20-something generation author, given their limited exposure to anything real? Maybe it will go like this: "Under the spreading chestnut tree, the wholesale Mp3 player stood."
I just wish they would all get lost. Now pardon me while I turn on my brand new wholesale mP3 player and dial up Lawrence.

Aliens vs predator 3, plans for a bot mode on single player?
will there be a single player biot mode where you can just battle the computer on maps, sorta like battefront or skirmish modes on other games apart from the campaign. I say this because i wont have xbox live for a good long while if ever.
And, what are the alien skins?
Will you have the oppurtunity at any time to play as a predalien or queen?
Will there be cheats to play as a predalien or queen?
I believe so, i was worried it wouldn't as i have no xbox live, but i read someons post on a forum and they said what it will have in a pretty straight foward manner. It will have the 3 campaigns roughly 5-7 hours each (shorter or longer depending on difficulty setting) It'll have offline multiplayer! and offline survival mode maybe? (not sure about that) and then the several online multiplayer modes.
As for skins, i know there's a alien predator, sgt..someone and a type of alien that can be played if the special editions bought. But also there is no crouch ability, but it's not such a thorn in the side as perfect dark/goldeneye were amazing and had no jump button; present in most FPS now days =)
